Weekly letter #21

Dear parents and students,


A Farewell to Michelle Borie
The students and teachers at ISA surprised outgoing Head of School, Michelle Borie with homemade flowers and a performance of "So Long, Farewell" from the Sound of Music


 

Here are the learning we've worked on this week:

French :
Spelling : sound m tests on Wednesday and Friday.
Reading/Vocabulary : We continued our third story : "Puss in Boots" and worked on VOC 19 (Quizlet 19).
Grammar : We learned what is a subject of a verb :G7
Poetry : We continued to write and learn the poem "Poeme du chat".


Math :
Calculation :
We continued to work on the "multiplication" and "product" concepts.
Solving Problem : We have been working on our collaborative learning #12.
We have been working collaboratively on division and multiplication problems.
US math : Money : The students really enjoyed working on Shawn's problems.


Discovering the world :
HISTORY : We continued to construct the time line (from 1900 to today) and put the third generations (grand parents).

SPORT SESSION : ATHLETICS
every Tuesday afternoon.

Puppet Show
